The Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has approved the appointment of Committee on Review of Sales of Government Property carried out by the immediate past administration, with the following constituting the committee:

1. Senator Ajadi Makanjuola Suleman - Chairman

2. Alhaji AbdulRahman Giwa - Member

3. Tunji Balogun Alanamu - Member

4. Alhaji AbdulRahman Oyinloye - Member

5. Alhaji Umar Jimada - Member

6. Alhaji Ibrahim Salman (DG, Bureau of Lands) - Member

7. Mr Odetokun, A.M. (Perm Sec, General Services) - Member

8. Alhaji AbdulRaheem Baki (Director of Building Services, Ministry of Housing and Urban Development) - Member

9. Shina Mudasir Akorede (Director of Admin and Finance, Government House) - Member

10. Mr Kayode O. Ibiyemi (Estate Valuer) - Member

11. Alhaji Tunde Aremu (Perm Sec, Political, Cabinet and Special Services) - Secretary

A statement issued on Monday and signed by the Deputy Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Agboola Olarewaju, said that the committee’s Terms of Reference include: identifying the affected property and beneficiaries, to examine the procedure/processes for disposal/sale and examine whether or not such sales is in conformity with public interest among others.

The statement disclosed further that the committee has two weeks to submit its findings, adding that the appointment is with immediate effect.
