A mysterious fire has claimed the life of former staff of EHealth Africa, Mr Isaiah Jonathan, his wife, three children and his cousin, according to a Daily Independent report.

The Police Public Relation Officer, Kano Command, DSP Abdullahi Haruna, told Sunday Independent that the tragic incident which occurred at Link 39, Bawo Road Hausawa, Quarters, in the Kano municipality started at about 03:25am.

DSP Haruna explained that the attention of Police Control Room was alerted at about 03:15am and prompt action was taken to save life.

He said that the intervention from the State Fire Service came a little too late as the fire was brought under control at about 05:17am.
