The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Wednesday, March 1, 2019:

NORTHERN STATES: Partly cloudy to cloudy conditions are expected over the north, with chances of morning thundery activities over Katsina, Kano, Zamfara, Zaria and Bauchi axis. Later in the day, partly cloudy to sunny condition is anticipated over this region in the afternoon/evening period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the ranges of 30 – 36℃ and 17 – 23℃ respectively.

CENTRAL STATES: Scattered thunderstorms/moderate rains are anticipated over the western part of this region. Later in the day, partly cloudy to cloudy condition with chances of localised thunderstorms are likely over Lafia, Lokoja, Taraba, Benue, Mambilla Plateau and Adamawa axis in the afternoon/evening hours. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the ranges of 28 – 35℃ and 18 – 25℃ respectively.

SOUTHERN STATES: Localised thunderstorms are expected over the southern cities in the morning hours except for South-West inland where cloudy morning is to prevail. Scattered thunderstorms are probable over the entire southern region in the afternoon/evening period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 29 – 33℃ and 21– 28℃ respectively.
