CEO of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing, Innocent Chukwuma
The Chief Executive Officer, Innoson Group of Companies, Mr. Innocent Chukwuma, has thrown his weight behind incumbent President, Muhammadu Buhari, for the February 16 presidential election and the Senator representing Anambra South in the National Assembly, Dr. Andy Uba
He said at the weekend that the endorsement of Uba was borne out of the need for continuity, having spent eight years at the red chambers.
“I appeal to our people to support Uba and president Buhari through their votes in the forthcoming elections as well as other APC candidates,” Chukwuma said.
Following his trail were traders who in their large numbers promised to vote for Buhari, Uba and all the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates at the poll.
In his speech, Senator Uba said he was overwhelmed by the massive support he received, urging them to translate it to votes during the elections.
He promised to attract more patronage to Innoson’s vehicles if he makes it as the next Senate President.
Uba, had on arrival to Nnewi with over 2,000 members of his entourage, moved straight to Nkwo Nnewi Market, visiting every section, including the timber market recently gutted by fire, to see the extent the area has been reconstructed.
Uba was accompanied on the visit by Dozie Ikedife Jnr., son of late president of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Dr. Dozie Ikedife.
