The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Monday, February 5, 2019:

NORTHERN STATES: Sunny and hazy conditions are anticipated over this region throughout the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the ranges of 32 – 36℃ and 13 – 20℃ respectively.

CENTRAL STATES: Partly cloudy conditions are likely over this region in the next 24 hours. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the ranges of 30 – 37℃ and 17 – 25℃.

SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy condition is expected over this region with chances of localised thunderstorms over Yenagoa, Calabar and Port Harcourt in the morning hours. In the afternoon/evening period, localised thunderstorms are likely over Lagos, Ikom, Owerri and coastal axis. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the ranges of 30 – 36℃ and 22 – 25℃ respectively.
