The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Sunday, February 3, 2019:

NORTHERN STATES: Sunny and hazy conditions are anticipated over this region throughout the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the ranges of 32 – 38℃ and 13 – 20℃ respectively.

CENTRAL STATES: Partly cloudy to cloudy conditions are likely over this region throughout the period of forecast. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the ranges of 33 – 38℃ and 20 – 27℃.

SOUTHERN STATES: Partly cloudy to cloudy condition is expected over this region in the morning hours except over Lagos and Ibadan where there are prospect of localised thunderstorms. Later in the day, localised thunderstorms are likely over Enugu, Awka, Owerri and the coastal axis. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the ranges of 32 – 37℃ and 22 – 25℃ respectively.
