Thunderstorm
The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Tuesday, January 29, 2019:
NORTHERN STATES: Dust haze condition with visibility range of 2 – 5km is likely over this region throughout the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the ranges of 33 – 37℃ and 13 – 17℃ respectively.
CENTRAL STATES: Partly cloudy to sunny conditions are likely over this region with chances of localised thunderstorm over Mambilla Plateau in the morning hours. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the ranges of 31 – 37℃ and 17 – 24℃.
SOUTHERN STATES: Partly cloudy to cloudy conditions are expected over the inland cities during the forecast period. Partly cloudy to cloudy conditions are to prevail over the coastal cities with the exception of Ikom, Calabar, Uyo, and Eket in the morning hours. Localised thunderstorms are most likely over the entire coastal cities in the afternoon/evening period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the ranges of 32 – 37℃ and 22 – 26℃ respectively.
