All is set for the Implementation Launch/National Rollout of the Federal Government’s 1ST 10,000 MORTGAGES SCHEME being implemented through the Federal Ministry of Finance in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development.

“The scheme is a private sector driven, Federal Government initiative with strong support from the Nigerian Mortgage Refinance Company and Primary Mortgage Lenders (PMLs),” Paul C Nwabuikwu, Special Adviser to the Coordinating Minister and Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, said last night. “It is being implemented in partnership with 15 pilot states and the Central Bank of Nigeria and backed by development partners including the World Bank, the African Development Bank, DFID, etc,” he added.

Nwabuikwu said details of the implementation modalities of the 10,000 Scheme would be unfolded during the launch scheduled for tomorrow morning, July 31, at the Congress Hall of Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja.
