Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State has expressed delight over the appointment of his wife, Nneoma Nkechi Okorocha, as a member of the 99-man Advisory Council for the Women and Youth Presidential Campaign Team.

Nneoma Okorocha was appointed the South-East Coordinator of the Campaign team, and the team is expected to campaign vigorously for the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari and the Vice-President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo for the 2019 election.

In a statement, signed by the Chief Press Secretary, Sam Onwuemeodo, the governor also commended the wife of the President, Hajia Aisha Buhari for deeming it fit to appoint his wife to lead the team’s Campaign in the South-East.

The governor assured Mrs. Buhari that the government and people of the state would give Nneoma Okorocha all the needed supports to ensure that she delivers on the task given to her.
