Dust haze

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Monday, December 31, 2018:

NORTHERN STATES: Dust haze condition is anticipated with visibility range of 1-3km and localised visibility of less than 1,000m over Nguru, Dutse, Potiskum, Katsina and Zaria throughout the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the ranges of 25 – 33℃ and 9 – 18℃ respectively.

CENTRAL STATES: Dust haze condition with visibility range of 2-5km and localised visibility of less than 1,000m is anticipated over the region throughout the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 30 – 35℃ and 16 – 20℃.

SOUTHERN STATES: Dust haze condition with visibility range of 2-5km is expected over the inland cities with chances of early morning mist over the coastal cities. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 32 – 36℃ and 19 – 23℃ respectively.
