The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Monday, December 24th, 2018:

NORTHERN STATES: Thick dust haze condition is likely over Kano, Katsina, Sokoto, Dutse, Nguru, Gusau and Maiduguri in the morning hours while moderate dust haze is expected over this region in the afternoon/evening hours. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the ranges of 25 – 32℃ and 10 – 15℃ respectively.

CENTRAL STATES: Dust haze condition with visibility range of 2 – 5km is expected over the region during the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the ranges of 29 – 36℃ and 14 – 20℃ respectively except for Jos 28/9℃.

SOUTHERN STATES: Dust haze condition with visibility range of 2 – 5km is to prevail over the inland states throughout the forecast period. Early morning mist is likely over the coastal cities later in the day; moderate dust haze condition is expected over the entire coastal cities. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the ranges of 28 – 36℃ and 15 – 23℃ respectively.
