President Buhari and Atiku
The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, was absent as President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and other presidential candidate sign Peace Accord ahead of next year’s election.
Buhari, who isthe presidential candidate for the APC,signed the peace accord at 4.27pm alongside the national chairman of the APC, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole at the International Conference Centre, Abuja.
Also, the National Chairman of PDP, Uche Secondus, was not on ground at the venue.
Other key presidential candidates that were absent include Mr. Donald Duke – Social Democratic Party, (SDP), Mr. Omoyele Sowore – African Action Congress (AAC) and Mrs Obi Ezekwesili – Allied Congress Party of Nigeria (ACPN).
The peace accord was initiated by the National Peace Committee (NPC) led by a former Head of State, General Abdulsalami Abubakar.
Earlier on, that President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived the venue for the signing of the peace pact being organised by the National Peace Committee led by a former Head of State, General Abdulsalami Abubakar.
The Presidential candidate of the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP , Atiku Abubakar is not on ground at the ICC venue of the peace pact in Abuja.
The PDP chairman, Uche Secondus is not also on ground.
Buhari is the presidential candidate for the All Progressives Congress, APC.
