The Delta State Government has washed its hands off online reports (not by News Express) claiming that the State Civil Service Commission is recruiting workers into the state civil service.

A public notice signed by the State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Ogbueshi Patrick Ukah, said: “The state government, by this notice, is making it clear that the government is not recruiting workers for now and advised Deltans to disregard the online report.

“The report is the handiwork of mischief makers who are out to mislead and dupe unsuspecting members of the public.”

Ogbueshi Ukah assured in the public notice issued on Wednesday in the state capital, Asaba, that “due process will be followed when the State Government is to embark on any recruitment exercise.”
