Two supervisory councillors of Safana local government area of Katsina state have been abducted, Daily trust reports.

They are Hussaini Wanzam (Finance) and Bishir Dan Jikko (Water and Sanitation).

According to Daily Trust, the duo were abducted by their captors on their way to Batsari after close of work yesterday.

Until now, no ransom has been demanded by their abductors.
