The governorship candidate of Social Democratic Party (SDP) in the last Osun state governorship election,Senator Iyiola Omisore, has been suspended byPan Yoruba sociology political group, Afenifere.
He was reportedly suspended on Tuesday.
It was learnt that his suspension was announcedduring the monthly meeting of the group in Akure, Ondo State capital.
Leader of Afenifere,Pa Ruben Fasonranti, made the announcement, according to sources at the meeting. It was learnt that his suspension was unconnected with the role he played in the victory of All Progressives Congress in Osun State.
