Senator Shehu Sani has accused the Muhammadu Buhari administration of deceiving Nigerians about restructuring the country.

The lawmaker who represents Kaduna Central district made the allegation on Monday via his verified Twitter handle.

While he faulted the All Progressives Congress (APC) government, he said the previous Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governments also ignored restructuring.

Senator Sani tweeted 10 days after he left the ruling party, although he did not give any specific reason for his departure.

He later announced on Tuesday last week that he was joining the People’s Redemption Party (PRP).

Days later, the lawmaker described President Muhammadu Buhari as the heart, soul and oxygen of the APC.

According to Sani who spoke during his appearance on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics, the party will not exist after the tenure of the President.
