The leadership of the Inter Party Advisory Council (IPAC) has expressed its readiness to work with Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) towards making the 2019 general election a huge success.
Speaking at the opening session of the two days roundtable on “Electoral Integrity in Nigeria and Tackling of Corruption in the Country’s Electoral Process” held at Barcelona Hotel Abuja, the National Chairman of IPAC, High Chief Peter Ameh, said that for Nigeria to survive the tension and pressure of the pre and post 2019 election, the election must not only be credible but seen to have been conducted in compliance with best international electoral process built on strong electoral integrity with voters and participants exercising their rights to vote and be voted for without any intimidation, fear or instigated violence.

High Chief Ameh, also called on Political Parties to uphold at all times the code of conduct guiding the activities of Political Parties and to douse the tension and crisis that characterises intra and Inter party struggles for who gets what, when and how.

The Roundtable had in attendance key stakeholders in the electoral process.
