Nutricima lures Lagosians to Yo! Health Check with music

It was fun unlimited for residents of the Home Science Estate, Alakuko in the Alagbado area of Lagos State, as Nutricima Limited recently lured them out with music and dance for free health checks. The occasion was part of the ongoing Yo! Community Health Check that has been going round several communities in Lagos.

Residents of the estate turned out in their thousands for the free health check, being initially attracted by the entertainment provided by a dance-troupe that went round the estate to reinforce announcements earlier made to arouse residents to come for free health checks. So good was the dance-troupe that residents joined them and took advantage of the body exercise that dance offered before queuing for the Yo! free Community Health Check.

An elated Ayowande Smith, Assistant Brand Manager, Yo! Yoghurt who joined in the conviviality provided by the occasion, expressed joy at being able to touch the people positively. He noted that “residents have commended Nutricima on the initiative of bringing to them the platform where they could engage in healthy exercises as well as receiving free health services and consultations.”

The company did not only entertain those that turned out for free health checks, each person that turned up went home with Yo! Yoghurt drinks which they testified has “natural taste and a feel of quality,” according to Adekunle Oluwatosin, a teacher who turned up to savour the dance and take advantage of the free health checks.

“Yo! Yoghurt,” according to her, “comes with great taste and healthy refreshing option which comes in handy. I got the information through an announcement in the church so I had to take the opportunity that has presented itself since it has been long that I went for health checks. Big thanks to Nutricima for this wonderful initiative!”

Another resident that turned out for the thrill of music, dance and free health checks, Omobolanle Obe, who also first got wind of the exercise in the church apart from healthy body and mind exercise through music and dance, was checked by medical consultants on her blood pressure, weight and height. The medics certified her of good health elated her the more, as “it’s been over 10 years that I checked my health status. Thanks to Nutricima for this rare opportunity,” she said.
