The Anambra State Police Command on Friday declared Mr. Ikechukwu Udensi, alias Ikanda wanted in connection with the murder of late Mr. Ndubuisi Nwokolo, a businessman based in Onitsha.

Nwokolo was allegedly murdered in Onitsha while on his way to his shop by the notorious thug and his gang following his attempt to stop Udensi from extorting money from the motorcycle operator riding him.

Declaring Udensi wanted, the Anambra State police command, in a press statement signed by the state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Haruna Mohammed, called on anyone with information on his whereabouts to report to the police.

He said that the Anambra State government had promised to reward anyone with useful information that would lead to the arrest of the kingpin.

The statement read: “The Anambra State Police Command has declared one Ikechukwu Udensi, Alias Ikanda wanted in connection with the murder of late Ndubuusi Nwokolo on June 29, 2018 at No 21 Etumonye, Onitsha.

“Suspect is a native of Azia in Ihiala LGA of Anambra State, dark in complexion, aged 27yrs old and about 1.73 meters tall.

“Anyone who provides useful information that would lead to his arrest will be Rewarded with One Million Naira (1,000,000) promised by the Anambra State Government. If seen, report to the nearest Police.”
