This July, Global Questions, the BBC’s highly respected, internationally renowned, current affairs programme travels to Lagos to raise important questions around how African youth are mobilising to raise political awareness.

Recording in the Nigerian city on 4th July, the discussion will be presented by Zeinab Badawi and will feature a panel of opinion formers who will face a live audience with important questions about how youth are shaping the future of their continent.

Bringing together high-profile Africans from the worlds of politics, civil society and culture, the English-speaking panel will include Aminu Tambuwal, Governor of Sokoto State; Samson Itodo, Executive Director Youth Initiative for Advocacy Growth & Advancement; Ayisa Osori, Lawyer and Author; Obiageli Ezekwesili, Africa Economic Development Policy Initiative, and Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, one of Nigeria’s most recognised TV personalities.
