Biafra: BNYL Deputy Leader arrested in Port Harcourt

Detained BNYL Deputy Leader, Comrade Ebuta Takon

Police in Port Harcourt have arrested the Deputy Leader of the Biafra Nations Youth League, (BNYL), Comrade Ebuta Takon.

Leader of BNYL, Comrade Princewill Chimezie Richard, said in a statement that Takon was arrested on Monday evening.

“Reason for the arrest is not yet known,” he said, adding that “Takon is currently being detained at State CID.”

Richard disclosed that BNYL’s lawyer, Barr. Frank Okpara, is making frantic efforts to secure Takon’s release.
