Former Vice President and frontline presidential hopeful of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has paid a condolence visit to former Governor of Adamawa State, retired Rear Admiral Murtala Nyako, over the death of his wife, Hajiya Zainab Nyako.
Hajiya Zainab Nyako, 63 and a mother of six, died last week Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at the Federal Medical Centre Yola where she spent a day on admission.
A statement issued on Sunday evening by the Atiku Media Office said that the nation’s erstwhile Number 2 Citizen was at Nyako’s residence in Yola, capital of Adamawa State, earlier in the day to personally extend his condolences.
Atiku euogised the late Hajiya Zainab Nyako and urged the husband to bear the loss with fortitude, even as he prayed Allah to grant the deceased al jannah firdaus.
