The principal of Seat of Wisdom Secondary School, Okija, Modestus Eze, has escaped a mob attack by some youths of the community following the news of him having carnal knowledge of a 17-year-old male student of the school.

Information has it that the principal was saved by the timely intervention of police officers from Okija Division in the spate of the confusion created by rampaging youths from the community when they stormed the school.

According to a source who spoke toNews Express, “It was the police that saved the man. He would have been dead by now. He has been doing this for years now.”

He said that “amidst the confusion that ensued, the principal escaped to an unknown destination.”

The Anambra State Public Relations Officer, Haruna Umar, while confirming the incident said the suspect allegedly had unlawful carnal knowledge against the order of nature with a 17 year- old student

He said a reported case of unnatural offence against one Modestus Eze, Principal of Seat of Wisdom Secondary School, Okija has been lodged at the Okija Division.

His words: “The scene was visited by Police detectives attached to the Okija Division and the victim taken to the hospital for medical examination.

“Some charms and Juju deities spread with a red substance suspect to be fresh blood were also discovered in some isolated rooms within the school premises.

“It took the intervention of the Divisional Police Officer and some eminent persons in the area to restore normalcy and pacify the rampaging youths from taking the laws into their hands.”

The PPRO added that though the suspect is still on the run, that police is not relenting in their effort to nab him and ensure he is brought to Justice.

According to him, while investigation was ongoing, the school has been cordoned off.
