Sunny weather
The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for today, Tuesday, April 3, 2018:
NORTHERN STATES: Mostly sunny and hazy conditions are expected over this region with dust haze still expected to prevail over Borno, Gombe and Bauchi states all through the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the ranges of 35 – 39℃and 20 – 28℃respectively.
CENTRAL STATES: The weather should be hazy accompanied by some cloudiness during the morning periods. Increased cloudiness is likely in the afternoon/evening hours with slim chances of thunderstorm activities over parts of Niger, Plateau, Kwara, Kogi, Benue and Nassarawa states. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 32 – 39℃and 23 – 27℃respectively.
SOUTHERN STATES: Partly cloudy to cloudy conditions are expected over most parts of the inland cities while cloudy conditions are likely over most parts of the coastal cities with chances of isolated thunderstorms over Calabar, Yenagoa, Eket, Uyo and Port Harcourt in the morning hours. Later in the day, we anticipate scattered thunderstorms over most parts of the region. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 34 – 37℃and 21 – 27℃respectively.
