Sunny, hazy and cloudy conditions expected across the country today

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for Saturday, December 23 2017:

NORTHERN STATES: Sunny and hazy conditions are expected to prevail over this region throughout the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 34 – 39℃and 14 – 20℃respectively.

CENTRAL STATES: Partly cloudy to sunny conditions are anticipated over this region throughout the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 35 – 39℃and 18 – 26℃respectively, except over Jos where 30℃/18℃day and night temperatures are expected.

SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy conditions are anticipated over some parts of the southern state with exception of Calabar and Port Harcourt during the morning hours while localised thunderstorms are much likely over Port Harcourt, Uyo, Eket, Calabar Lagos and Ijebu-Ode and its environs during the afternoon/evening hours. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 32 – 35℃and 23 – 25℃respectively
