State Governors hold emergency meeting in Abuja

A cross section of Nigerian Governors

An emergency meeting of the Nigerian Governors Forum is currently ongoing at the State House in Abuja, a report from the federal capital said.

Details of the meeting are still unknown but Channels Television quoted sources as saying that “it may not be unconnected with the controversy that has been generated by the governors’ approval of one billion dollars from the excess crude account to fight insurgency.”
