The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for Thursday, December 14, 2017:

NORTHERN STATES: Sunny and hazy conditions are expected to prevail over this region throughout the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 29 – 34℃and 15 – 20℃respectively.

CENTRAL STATES: Partly cloudy conditions are likely over some central cities like Abuja, Lokoja, Lafia & Makurdi, with the rest of the region experiencing sunny & hazy conditions throughout the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 33 – 35℃and 18 – 23℃respectively, except over Jos where 28℃/13℃day and night temperatures are expected.

SOUTHERN STATES: Some cities like Lagos, Abeokuta, Ijebu-Ode, Yenagoa, Calabar & Port-Harcourt should expect early morning mist/fog with prospects of isolated showers/thundery activities over Lagos, Port Harcourt, Yenagoa, Calabar and Warri in the afternoon/evening hours. The rest of the region should anticipate partly cloudy conditions to prevail throughout the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 31 – 34℃and 20 – 25℃respectively.
