Today’s weather: Expect sunny and hazy, clouds in inland cities — NiMet

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for Saturday, November 2, 2017:

NORTHERN STATES: Sunny and hazy condition is expected to prevail over this region throughout the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 34 – 39℃and 12 – 23℃respectively.

CENTRAL STATES: Sunny and hazy conditions are anticipated over this region throughout the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 32 – 37℃and 14 – 21℃respectively, except over Jos where 27℃/14℃day and night temperatures are expected.

SOUTHERN STATES: The inland cities are expected to be cloudy throughout the day. Cloudy conditions are anticipated over the coastal cities in the morning hours while localised thunderstorms are expected over Yenagoa, Port Harcourt and its environs in the afternoon/evening period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 31 – 35℃and 19 – 25℃respectively
