The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for Friday, November 17, 2017:

NORTHERN STATES: Sunny and hazy conditions are expected over this region throughout the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 37 – 39℃and 18 – 22℃respectively.

CENTRAL STATES: Partly cloudy to sunny conditions are anticipated over this region except for places like Jos, Kaduna and Bauchi where hazy and sunny condition is probable during the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 32 – 37℃and 16 – 23℃respectively, except over Jos where 30℃/14℃day and night temperatures are expected.

SOUTHERN STATES: Partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with chances of localised thunderstorms over Calabar and Ikom axis are expected during the morning hours with prospect of localised thunderstorms over places such as Akure, Benin, Abakaliki, Ijebu-Ode and Owerri, including the coastal cities. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 30 – 37℃and 23 – 25℃respectively.
