The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for today, Monday, November 13, 2017:

NORTHERN STATES: Sunny and hazy conditions are anticipated over the region during the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 33 – 37℃ and 12 – 19℃ respectively.

CENTRAL STATES: Sunny and hazy conditions are expected over most parts of the region excluding Makurdi, Lokoja and Mambila Plateau where partly cloudy conditions are anticipated during the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 35 – 37℃ and 19 – 22℃ respectively, except over Jos where 30℃ – 13℃ day and night temperatures are expected.

SOUTHERN STATES: The inland cities are expected to be under partly cloudy conditions with cloudy conditions prevailing over the coast during the morning hours. Later in the day, partly cloudy conditions are anticipated over the inland with prospects of isolated thunderstorms over Lagos, Calabar, Yenagoa and Port Harcourt. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 31 – 35℃ and 20 – 26℃ respectively.
