Vice President Yemi Osinbanjo has approved the deployment of 24 Federal Permanent Secretaries.
This is contained in a circular signed by the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HoCSF), Mrs. Winifred Oyo-Ita.
In a statement on Saturday, the Assistant Director (Media) in the Office of the Head of Service of the Federation (OHoCSF),Mohammed Manga said that the processes for handing and taking over should be completed on or before Friday, August 25, 2017 except for deployments with specific taking over or assumption of duty dates.
While 15 of the newly appointed permanent secretaries were earlier assigned portfolios, the remaining nine were redeployed.
Those redeployed were Folsade O. Yemi-Esan from Career Management Office ((OHoCSF) to Petroleum Resources, Engr.A.G.Magaji moved from Interior Ministry to Niger Delta Ministry,A.A.B.Dr. Shamaki from Special Duties Office (Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation) to the Ministry of Science and Technology (to take-over on October 1, 2017)Sunday STogoEchono from Ministry of Communications to Ministry of Education, Aminu Aliyu Bisalla from Minsitry of Industry, Trade and Investment to General Service Office OSGF (to take-over on October 1, 2017),Chinyeaka ChristianOhaa from Common Services Office (OHCSF) to Ministry of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nuratu Batagarawa from Service Policy and Strategies Office (OHCSF) to Ministry of Defence (to take-over on October 1, 2017), William Nwankwo Alo from Political Affairs Office (OSGF) to Special Duties Office OSGF (to take-over on October 1, 2017) andOlukunle A.Bamgbose from Political Affairs Office (OSGF) to Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Also, the 15 newly appointed permanent secretaries were deployed as follows:EkeomaEhuria Georgina (Cabinet Affairs Office, OSGF), Akpan Edet Sunday (Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment, to take-over on October 1, 2017), Anagbogu Ifeoma Nkiruka (Ministryof Women Affairs), Diiarau Didi EstherWalson –Jack(Service Welfare Office OHCSF), Gekpe Grace Isu (Ministry of Information and Culture), Aliboh Leon Lawrence (Ministry of Budget and National Planning) and Uwaifo Osarenoma Clement (Ministry of Health).
