Battle of Calabar: Keshi names Super Eagles’ 18 warriors to tackle Liberia

Super Eagles Chief coach, “Big Boss” Stephen Keshi, has unfolded the names of the 18 warriors he expects to tame the Lone Star of Liberia during this afternoon’s battle of Calabar in the capital of Cross River State, South-South Nigeria.

Liberia stands between Nigeria and the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa and the Super Eagles have vowed to shed blood if necessary to deliver the ticket.

Nigeria is in pole position to qualify having returned from Monrovia with a 2-2 draw after the first leg but the Liberians have been boasting to the high heavens. However, both the players and Coach Keshi have promised to put smiles on the lips of Nigerians to wipe away the tears arising from recent disastrous events, especially the floods and murder of innocent students in Mubi, Adamawa State and Aluu, Rivers State.
