A Lagos-based Consultant and Realtor, Miss Agunbiade Busayo of Bino Real Estate Consult, has called on investors to maximise an investment opportunity in the Ibeju Area of Lekki in Lagos State, pointing out that land in this axis appreciates faster than anywhere else in the country.

She told News Express that, for now, “the Ibeju area is the only region you can invest in for over 500 per cent return on your investmentin two yearstime.”

She further noted that, “the Ibeju in Lekki will develop faster than Lekki phase 1 as it will be the new Dubai of Africa”, adding that “international companies have now started taking possession in the area.”

“Unbelievably, with even N700,000; N1.5 million; N3 million and N4 million, you should be thinking of acquiring at least a plot in this axis.

“A plot of land in Lekki Phase 1 is N120 million – N150 million and in three years, it will worth N140 million – N170 million. While a plot in Ibeju Lekki worth N1.5 million today would be worth N7 million – N15 million in three years.

“It’s not compulsory you live there as you can buy as many plots as you can afford and then wait for the capital you have invested on the land to appreciate more and more,” Agunbiade explained.

She maintained that the secret of most successful Real Estate Investors is that they buy land on the fringe of development and wait for capital appreciation.

“Smart City Dubai is the brain behind this project, and also the developer of Smart City Kochi (India). This same developer is coming for Smart City Lagos,” according to Agunbiade.
