Lagos Water Corporation has announced that there will be a temporary shutdown of Adiyan Waterworks from Monday 12th - Tuesday 13th June 2017, for routine maintenance exercise.

A statement issued today by the Managing Director/CEO, Lagos Water Corporation, Engr. Muminu Badmus, at his Ijora office, said the exercise became necessary for optimal water production and supply capacity to the service areas of the water plant.

According to the statement, “The areas that will be affected by the maintenance works are Ketu, Alapere, Omole Phase I & II, Ogudu, Isheri Oke, Amuwo, Itire, Orile Iganmu, and Sari-Iganmu.”

Badmus said the disruption in water supply to the listed areas will only last for a short period of time and assured Lagosians of the Corporation’s commitment towards providing sufficient potable water supply in the state.
