The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for today,Saturday, June 10, 2017:
NORTHERN STATES: Partly cloudy to cloudy morning condition is expected with prospect of localised thunderstorms over southern Borno, Yola, Katsina, and Gusau axis in the afternoon/evening period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 30 – 35℃and 21 – 24℃respectively.
CENTRAL STATES: Cloudy morning is anticipated over this region with chances of localised thunderstorms over Jos, Abuja, Kaduna and Jalingo axis in the afternoon/evening hours. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 27 – 31℃and 17 – 23℃respectively.
SOUTHERN STATES: Localised rain showers over Port Harcourt, Yenagoa, Ijebu- Ode and Lagos are expected in the morning hours while most parts of this region are anticipated to experience localised thunderstorms during the afternoon/evening period. Day and night temperatures are expected to be within the range of 26 – 33℃and 18 – 24℃respectively.
