The Chairman of Friday Osanebi Foundation, Rt. Hon. Friday Osanebi, has been honoured with an award by students who have benefited from the foundation.

Osanebi, who is the Deputy Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, had released N10 million for the 2017 undergraduate and post primary education scholarship award for 100 students in Delta North Senatorial district.

According to him, most of the talented students in the society have very poor background in terms of financial support to their education. That’s why he decided to created the Friday Osanebi Foundation.

“This time last year, I gave out N10 million scholarship award, which I promised to do every year. I am very happy today for another tranche of the scholarship award because these students made me proud,” he declared, adding that after their education there will be an employment plan for them.

He advised the students to always shun cultism, which may likely jeopardised their future.

The scholarship award will enable them pay their school fees and it will run till their graduation in various tertiary institutions.
