The Association for Katsina State Indigenes, Resident in Lagos State has called on all Nigerians to constantly pray for their leaders, especially the President, Muhammadu Buhari.

This was made known in a statement signed by the Chairman of the Association, Haruna Muhammed.

He described the President as highly disciplined with zero-tolerance for corruption, adding that he is very passionate about the welfare of citizens especially the common man.

“President Muhammadu Buhari is adjudged as the only President in the history of Nigeria that is passionate about the welfare of Talakawas.

“He declared his assets, he is a man of integrity without any blemished record of corruption or self-aggrandizement, zero tolerance to corruption and indiscipline.

“He is working around the clock to diversify the economy through agriculture, solid minerals and accountability in governance, strengthen the Naira, reduce unemployment rate, to mention but a few.

“We have no doubt that he is Allah’s chosen for Nigeria at this crucial time in our political life. Going by day to day achievements being recorded in the area of recovery of loots which would have been used to reduce poverty, diseases and provide unemployment to our youth, he deserves to be supported by all well-meaning Nigerians.”

The association also hinted that it would continue to remain supportive of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

“We also want to assure our leaders, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his excellency, Mr Akinwunni Ambode that northerners and particularly, Katsina State residents in Lagos will remain with the progressive and vote en-mass in the forthcoming Local Government Elections to enhance the progress and development in the state.” (Channels TV)
