An Abuja High Court sitting in Mabushi today adjourned till to June 12, 2017, hearing in a $5 million libel lawsuit lodged against the Minister for Women’s Affairs, Hajia Aisha Alhassan.
The defamation suit was filed by a US-based Nigerian human rights lawyer, Mr. Emmanuel Ogebe, “in response to the Minister’s uncharitable remarks over his humanitarian assistance and sponsorship of several escaped Chibok girls to schools in the US.”
The case is being heard by Justice AB Mohammed.
