Cloudy weather
The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for today, Tuesday, May 9, 2017:
NORTHERN STATES: Partly cloudy conditions are expected over this region in the morning and afternoon, except areas of Gusau, Yelwa, Gombe and southern Borno that have prospects of localised thunderstorms in the afternoon. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 34 – 40℃ and 19 – 25℃ respectively.
CENTRAL STATES: Cloudy morning is expected over this region except over Abuja, Lafia and Makurdi with prospects of localised thunderstorms. Later in the afternoon there are chances localised thunderstorms Minna, Bida, Ilorin and Yola axis. Day and Night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 32 – 36℃ and 20 – 25℃ respectively, except over Jos where 30℃ and 18oC day and night temperatures are expected.
SOUTHERN STATES: In the morning, cloudy condition are expected over southwest, while Port Harcourt, Calabar, Eket and Uyo, Yenagoa, Warri, Benin, Awka, Enugu, Umuahia and environs also have chances of localised thunderstorms, later in the afternoon localised thunderstorms are expected over the southwest region. The day and night time temperatures are expected to be in the ranges of 30 – 34℃ and 21 – 24℃.
