Cloudy weather
The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for today, Saturday, May 6, 2017:
NORTHERN STATES: Partly cloudy conditions are anticipated to prevail over this region during the morning hours. Later into the day, isolated thunderstorms are likely Kebbi, Yelwa and its environs. Day and Night temperature value are expected to be in the range of 35 – 41℃ and 24 – 29℃ respectively.
CENTRAL STATES: Isolated thunderstorms are likely over Abuja, Kaduna, Lafia and its environ during the morning hours while there are chances of isolated thunderstorms over Kaduna, Jos, Lafia, Minna, Bauchi, Yola and its environs during the afternoon/evening hours. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 29 – 37℃ and 21 – 27℃ respectively except Jos at 29/18℃.
SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudiness is likely over most part of the southern cities with chances of isolated rains over Ikeja, Ijebu-Ode and its environs while there are possibility of isolated thunderstorms over Yenagoa, Port Harcourt, Eket, Calabar and its environ during the morning hours. However, there are chances of isolated thunderstorms over most part of the southern cities during the afternoon/evening hours. Day and night time temperatures are expected to be in the ranges of 29 – 33℃ and 22 – 27℃ respectively.
