The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for today,Saturday, April 22, 2017:
NORTHERN STATES: Sunny and hazy conditions are expected over the region throughout the forecast period. Day and Night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 33 – 42℃and 18 – 30℃respectively.
CENTRAL STATES: Partly cloudy morning is anticipated over the region with prospects of localised thunderstorms over Jos, Abuja, Lafia, Jalingo, Yola and Makurdi later in the day. Day and Night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 34 – 40℃and 24 – 26℃respectively, except over Jos where 33℃and 18℃day and night temperatures are expected.
SOUTHERN STATES: In the morning, the region is expected to be cloudy except for Lagos where localised thunderstorms are anticipated in few places. Later in the day, places like Benin, Awka, Enugu, Ado-Ekiti, Osogbo, Portharcourt, Calabar, Eket and Uyo have chances localised thunderstorms. The Day and Night time temperatures are expected to be in the ranges of 32 – 36℃and 22 – 25℃.
