Cloudy weather
The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for today,Wednesday, April 19, 2017:
NORTHERN STATES: The region is expected to experience Sunny and hazy conditions in the next 24hours. Day and Night temperature value are expected to be in the range of 36 – 42℃and 22 – 29℃respectively.
CENTRAL STATES: Cloudy to partly cloudy skies is anticipated over this area with chances of early morning hour’s isolated thunderstorms over Jalingo and Mambilla. There are also prospects of localised thunderstorms over cities such as Lokoja, Makurdi and Lafia later in the day.
Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 36 – 39℃ and 24 – 27℃respectively except Jos 30/18℃
SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudiness is expected over the region with prospect of localised thunderstorms over the coastal cities such as Lagos, Ijebu Ode, Port Harcourt, Calabar, Yenagoa, Ikom and Warri. Also to be affected are the inland areas like Akure, Ado Ekiti, Benin, Ibadan, Oshogbo, Enugu, Owerri, Awka, Abakaliki and Obudu during the afternoon/evening period. Day and night time temperatures are expected to be in the ranges of 33 – 38℃and 20 – 26℃ respectively.
