Hazy weather
The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for today, Sunday, April 16, 2017:
NORTHERN STATES: Moderate dust haze conditions are expected with horizontal visibility of 3-5km over Kano, Katsina, Gusau, Sokoto, Dutse while Maiduguri, Damaturu, Nguru and Potiskum will experience sunny and dry condition throughout the forecast period. Day and Night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 34 – 37℃and 23 – 27℃respectively.
CENTRAL STATES: Partly cloudy to cloudy conditions are expected over this region throughout the forecast period. Day and Night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 29 – 36℃and 18 – 26℃respectively.
SOUTHERN STATES: Increased cloudiness with prospects of isolated thunderstorms are expected over Lagos and Ijebu-Ode axis in the morning hours. Later in the afternoon, prospects of localised thunderstorms are likely over places such as Ibadan, Akure, Oshogbo, Enugu, Obudu, Warri, Port Harcourt and Calabar. Day and Night temperatures are expected to be within the range of 32 – 34℃and 22 – 25℃respectively.
