Late gospel singer Toluwanisings and his wife
Content creator and actor, Woli Agba, has penned a heartbreaking note to the wife of late gospel singer, Toluwanisings, following his sudden demise.
Recall that the gospel singer passed away in the early hours of Wednesday, October 14th, 2026.
His family has since confirmed the sad news, urging the public to keep his wife, family and loved ones in prayers.
Taking to his page in a lengthy post, Woli Agba recounted a painful encounter with the late singer’s wife after his passing.
According to him, she asked a simple question that became the hardest to answer.
He wrote: “And she asked, ‘Where is my husband?’ I can’t forget this moment; a simple question found no answer in me. Eventually, an answer came, but I wasn’t sure it was the kind of response that could sustain her in that moment.”
Woli said words failed him at that moment: “Words failed me! I couldn’t even find a Bible verse that seemed relevant to the moment. (May God have mercy on me.) I stuttered and stammered because what seemed like a simple question suddenly became the most difficult question to answer.”
He revealed that the wife’s last memory of her husband was them preparing to take their daughter to school.
“Ah! My heart goes out to our dear sister, whose last memory of her husband was preparing to take their daughter to school,” he wrote.
Woli questioned how to help her face the painful reality: “How do we help her embrace a reality so painful that the heart may naturally want to reject it? How do we help her understand that the man she fondly described as her passionate friend and father is no longer coming home to her?”
He continued: “I keep praying for her because I know that beyond the tears people see, there are battles she will have to fight in the silence of her own heart.”
Mourning the late singer, whom he described as an Angel with a unique voice, Woli said his passing is a painful and heartbreaking.
Toluwanisings had in July 2026 survived a serious road accident with his band members, which he described at the time as a miraculous escape. (The Nation)
