It was messy, funny, controversial and dramatic — a fitting description of Temi Nkem’s 70-day journey in the Big Brother Naija house.
The 21-year-old London-born housemate emerged winner of Big Brother Naija Season 11 on Sunday, beating Aikou and Sheba in a closely contested finale.
Temi, whose full name is Temitope Chigbue, entered Biggie’s house as one of the 24 original housemates but quickly established herself as one of the season’s most prominent personalities.
Outspoken and expressive, the 21-year-old rarely held back her opinions or emotions, making her a regular feature in the season’s major conversations, controversies and dramatic moments.
Her time in the ‘Show Ya Sef’ house was marked by memorable exchanges, alliances and confrontations, helping to keep viewers engaged throughout the 70-day reality show.
After surviving successive eviction rounds and making it to the final stage of the competition, Temi secured the highest number of votes to claim the coveted title.
Some of her biggest moments had nothing to do with tasks.
Fans still talk about the custard incident, a small, everyday kitchen moment that turned into a viral highlight and showed Temi’s playful, relatable side.
Then came the BB Bucks saga. Temi took housemates BB Bucks and kept them, sparking tension in the house. Ricky and Keivo were also caught in similar BB Bucks disputes involving her. What looked like a small act became a major talking point as the house economy grew more competitive.

Her connection with Tram was another major storyline. What started as a close friendship turned into repeated kisses, a fact Tram himself later confirmed.
The development stirred drama, as Tram was in a relationship outside and Temi had been building a bond with Keivo at the time.
Week nine looked like the end for Temi. She was called out alongside Tram and Ricky in what appeared to be a triple eviction.
Biggie, however, had other plans. The eviction was fake. The three were secretly kept and later returned to the main house, a twist that reignited Temi’s game and pushed her all the way to finale week.
Her housemates summed her up best during the house awards, where she carted away titles like “What Just Happened?”, “Most Unpredictable” and “Big Brother Please” awards that captured her chaotic energy.
The last night began with nine finalists: Aikou, Barry, Bluethopia, Flora, Oyin, Ricky, Sheba, Temi Nkem and Tram.
Barry, Oyin, Ricky, Flora and Tram were first to leave the stage, followed by Bluethopia as third runner-up. Sheba and Aikou became runner-ups. In the end, it was Temi.
She polled 25.87% of the final vote to Aikou’s 23.68%, sealing a win that makes her the fifth woman to ever win BBNaija.
Nkem won N160 million in total value, including N90 million cash, a brand-new SUV and other sponsored rewards.
From BB Bucks to custard bowls, from a controversial kiss to a fake eviction and back again, Temi Nkem’s journey was never quiet. But on Sunday night, the most unpredictable housemate of the season became the most rewarded.
