Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has opened up about losing a four-month pregnancy, revealing how Pastor Bolaji Idowu supported her financially and spiritually during the difficult period.

Abraham shared the experience while speaking at the Bestie Jesu Concert 2026 in Lagos on Saturday.

The actress said she was four months pregnant when she lost the pregnancy while she was also busy filming.

In her words, “I was 4 months, but I lost it. But guess what, I was filming, so I was down.”

Abraham said she initially did not want to contact her parents about the pregnancy loss, particularly because she was concerned about her mother, whom she described as old.

“I didn’t want to call my parents; you know how it is that you don’t want to… my parents, my mom is old, and I didn’t want to call my mom,” she said.

She explained that she told her husband about what had happened, but he was far away at the time.

“I just told my husband, but that day he was far away, and guess who I called?” she said.

According to Abraham, she eventually contacted Pastor Bolaji Idowu, who immediately began praying for her and asked about her location.

“I just called Pastor Bolaji. He just started praying, and he said, ‘Where are you?’ I said, ‘I’m on my way to the hospital.’”

She said the pastor then asked what was going to happen at the hospital, to which she explained that she was scheduled to undergo an evacuation.

“He said, ‘What’s going to happen?’ I said, ‘They want to do an evacuation.’”

Abraham revealed that Pastor Bolaji subsequently sent her millions of naira to assist with the medical procedure.

“And Pastor Bolaji sent me millions,” she said.

Expressing her gratitude to the pastor, the actress added, “Thank you so much, Pastor Bolaji. God bless you.” (Nigerian Tribune)
