Nollywood actress Biola Fowosere, has recounted how she lost her businesses to robbers seven times within two years despite repeatedly changing locations and improving security measures.

Fowosere, who spoke about her experience while reflecting on her entrepreneurial journey, said she started by selling hair and offering hairdressing services before expanding into other businesses.

In her words, her ordeal began after she moved from operating a small hair business to running a large shop where she sold cosmetics.

“I first started doing business. I was selling hair. At first, I would go to people’s houses to do their hair, while some came to my house. Later, I started selling hair extensions and relaxers. I also sold men’s clothing materials,” she said.

She later rented a bigger shop where she sold creams and other products, but robbers soon targeted the business.

“Then I rented a shop where I sold cream and the shop was very big. Robbers came and robbed my shop,” she recalled.

Determined to continue with her business, Fowosere left the location and rented another shop elsewhere. However, the change of location did little to protect her investment. (The Nation, excluding headline)
