Lere Olayinka, spokesperson to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, on Friday clashed with ARISE Television anchor, Rufai Oseni, during a live programme.
Lere Olayinka, who appeared on The Morning Show, declined to answer questions from Rufai, saying he preferred to engage in a discussion with “reasonable human beings.”
The disagreement appeared to stem from Olayinka’s objection to Oseni’s alleged description of some people as “emudani.”
Oseni had earlier asked Olayinka to explain the inclusion of former Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Betta Edu, in the presidential campaign council despite allegations of corruption against her.
However, Olayinka declined to respond to questions from Oseni.
“Well, I’m very sorry to say this, Oseni Rufai, I don’t want to answer any question from you. I want to concentrate.
“I want this conversation to be among reasonable human beings, people who will not come and tell, who will not come and describe other people as ‘emudani’,” Olayinka said.
The interview was subsequently cut short amid the disagreement between Olayinka and the television anchor.
