The Governor of Lagos State and Chairman of the South-West Governors Forum, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, will lead the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council in the South-West as Zonal Campaign Coordinator towards the re-election of President Bola Tinubu in the January 2027 Presidential election.

This was announced on Saturday in a statement from the presidency, revealing the members of the APC 2027 presidential council.

President Bola Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima will head the APC Presidential Campaign Council as chairman and vice chairman. Former Zamfara State Governor, Senator Abdulaziz Yari, and Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma, will serve as Director-General and Secretary, respectively.

Sanwo-Olu, who previously led the APC Governorship Campaign Council in Ondo State to victory in 2020 and 2024, will work with APC leaders at the national, zonal, and state levels to mobilize support for President Tinubu’s re-election in the South-West.

As APC Zonal Campaign Coordinator for the South-West geo-political zone, Governor Sanwo-Olu will lead President Tinubu’s re-election campaign in Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Osun, Ondo, and Ekiti states.

His mandate includes highlighting the achievements of President Tinubu’s administration, rallying stakeholders across the political spectrum, and engaging workers, trade unions, students, artisans, corporate entities, and citizens to ensure a decisive victory for the APC in the zone.
