Veteran actress Ngozi Nwosu has appealed to the public for financial support as she prepares for urgent life-saving surgeries.
In an emotional video shared on Instagram on Thursday, the actress, without disclosing the nature of her illness, said she has been hospitalised for the past three weeks.
“My fans, friends, family and colleagues, this was really hard for me to do, but I can’t keep quiet any more. I need urgent life-saving surgeries,” she said.
Nwosu urged her followers to help amplify her appeal.
“Please don’t scroll past. Share this post and support if you can. God bless you and may you and yours never experience this affliction,” she pleaded.
The actress disclosed that the total amount needed for all the surgeries is N30 million and asked well-wishers to contact her legal representative or management for more details.
“Please contact my legal representative or management for more details. Total amount needed for all surgeries is: N30,000,000,” she added.
Ngozi Nwosu is known for roles in Domitila, Fuji House of Commotion, and several other Nollywood films. (The Nation)
